Bridge Refugee Services (Knoxville/Chattanooga)

We are a nonprofit agency operating in Knoxville and Chattanooga and committed to providing protection and assistance in refugees’ inspiring journey.

​

Employment Program - Our employment program helps assist newcomers admitted to the US as refugees to find employment so that the individual or family may become self-sufficient as soon as possible. We provide job readiness training, placement assistance, interpretation services, post-employment follow-up, and referrals to additional employment resources. We are always seeking employer partners who value the skills our clients bring and honor their desire to support themselves and their families.

Centro Hispano de East TN (Knoxville)

Centro’s Workforce Development Department has evolved to reflect the needs of the Knoxville area’s Latino community. Through several different programs, we teach clients effective ways of communication and provide the tools necessary for them to succeed and better integrate into East Tennessee life.

Workforce Development includes: English language (ESL), Digital and Financial Education, medical interpreter training, small business education, and HiSET (high school diploma equivalency). This combination is designed to holistically target the areas where resources for Latinos in our community are lacking.

The mission of the Blount Partnership is to serve its members and stakeholders while promoting economic growth and stability, fostering community development and enhancing the overall quality of life in the region.
